Which do i get....
So im torn. Im not sure which one to go with, and since its dead in here, i will make a pole and get some people active.
Heres what im looking for...in no order of importance, so after reading through this, cast your vote!
Speed
Handling
Not overly concerned with towing people but it would be nice
Comfort
Storage
Size
Overall
I plan on taking some long trips on it as i will treat it like my motorcycle... deisgned for weekend trips to my friends beachhouse, etc etc. I will be trailering it halfway around the country. literally. It will go from Dover, DE, to PA, to NJ, to Maine, to Florida, Georgia, SC, Maryland.
I'd like enough room to store some stuff in it. Iwill be taking it camping on river banks, so if i could strap a tent to it it would be nice.
Most importantly which one is more fun. By fun i mean overall good equaliberiam of flat out speed, ability to jump wakes, waves. Handling.
So cast your vote cause im bored at work on a friday.!

on a serious note if you want storage get the rxt. my life vest doesn't even fit in my rxp without squishing it down. My wife's gtx sc has a ton of room. We are able to fit two little ice chests, 4 towels, extra life vests and other stuff in the front storage compartment.

i curled up and was able to fit in my RXTs front compartment
i've packed a cooler, two foldable beach chairs, a bag of clothes, and extra life vests in the front storage... then got all my valuables in the glove vox, my GPS in the custom GPS glove box lid, and then misc. crap like dock lines and anchor in the rear storage bucket. Then i've strapped a gas can to the back platform and take a trip for 2 days
I think it depends on where you live and what your intentions are. if i lived in a lake with no access to the ocean i'd own an RXP... since i have access to virtually anywhere i opt to take trips on the ski and go waterskiing and tubing often and tear ass thru the ocean inlets. wave jumping... not gonna happen off a little 20 foot power boat... get urself a 35 foot + boat plowing thru and u can get some air... but the real air is seen in the surf right off the ocean beachs. that couch can fly in the right conditions, but those conditions aren't an everyday occurance.
i enjoy the handling of my RXT... while not CARVING and running buoys, it still turns and if you toss some body english in there you can get it to turn on a dime quite easily and spin out.
u know me Pettee... RXT got my vote
