    I have a 2014 RXT-X as 260 with moving deck.
To get to the Sensor hole for mounting or dismounting I think I get crazy with all the work around, to
get close to this hole. No way.

I am looking for another method somewhere at another place - like the muffler?

Muffler aka waterbox contains water and will damage your sensor. Not a good idea

I'm going to be installing an o2 on my 06 RXT soon. I read in an earlier post that if I drill the same spot you guys did I'll hit the water jacket, can anyone confirm that that is the case? After looking at pictures of manifolds from different years, I don't see any differences.. I don't want to buy a newer one if mine is the exact same and will work just fine lol

Would any of these other spots work?

If drilling where we did hit the water jacket we wouldn't have drilled there. You would have to drill way too far to hit the water jacket.
Of your 4 circles, I think the only one that will work is the same one we used, the upper right most circle.
I believe if you drill in any of the other circles you will drill right into the water jacket.

Lol well I didn't think you would tell people to drill there if it wasn't a good spot. Im asking about these posts, my RXT is an 06 I just want to make sure my manifold will work for this:

After looking closely at manifolds from different years I don't see any differences that stick out.

The other three circles, I was kinda thinking the same thing after looking at it. Looks like they could be spots to tap right into the water jacket.

I guess I could just try it. Then if it doesn't work I'll get an 08+ manifold. I have to make it work either way I already have everything else in hand.

Can an O2 bung just be welded in the J-pipe? Or can anyone confirm that I can do this to a 2005 manifold? I have read some people say it can be done while others say it can only be done on the newer manifolds.

    Thanks.
