Hope everyone is doing well . This covid 19 has given me some time on the gpr . Im mounting the 2000 shoe in the 08 . When it was in the yellow ski it has silicone and/or rubber around the edges . About 3-4mm making it flush with the bottom edge of the hull and pushing it foward of the transom plate . I have taken the silicone out of under the 4 mounting bolts so it sits up against the hull . Now at the transom , do i remove that so the shoe moves towards the back ? Also if i do that the 4 bolts will align better . Along the green line as in pics Click image for larger version.

Stripped all the excess silicone off and made sure it all fitted and lined up straight . Then a used polyurethane to stick it back on , filled all voids and all surfaces and cleaned it up . Thanks to Mark and Richard for there expert advice
I may drop the motor in tomorrow. Click image for larger version.

Got all the pump in . Just used the boat prop on the 08 pump that came with ski . Putting 2 pressure relief vavles on the spacer . I will be putting a bigger spring in the valves as they open too early. I might put the plate , grate , tabs and sponsons on today . Hopefully i will get the turbo back from being rebuilt soon ..
