    2003 GTX SC Update

Gday, working on getting my old GTX back up to speed.

I originally did her as a long distance tourer with additional 80l tank, electric transfer pump, depth sounder, metal pump sleeve, bilge p/p and metal SC washers fitted but always wanted trim on her.

Shes got 100 hrs up and been sitting for 4 years so now have dusted her off, cleaned her up and she fired up straight off. Haven't water tested her yet but she was showing some rev probs which is why she was put aside in the first place.

Anyway, mechanical troubleshooting aside, the purpose of the exercise is to take her back to being a bulletproof boat i can depend apon in blue water.

I'm about to send her off to get some work done and a VTS system retrofitted.

Apart from getting the valves swapped out for the later ones, is there anything else I should be looking at where advances in technology have overcome any inherit probs of the early models?
