So cal Spring time river/lake run?

I know this was brought up last year but how about this year.
How does a weekend get together between mid april to mid may sound?

What weekend works best? memorial? non-holiday weekend?

Which body of water? Parker strip, Laughlin, mojave, havasu, blythe, somewhere else?

Some raffles, BBQ,drinks. Just to have a good time & put faces to some screen names. It can happen if we get it together now with some input.

Yup, I'd hit mudbug if it was 1000 miles closer.
I guess nobody wants to do anything on the west coast.

I'm down for late May since I'll be done with school for the summer. Maybe not Memorial Weekend since I'll be at Mead tearing it up.

I'm down for anywhere, and I know my dad is too. Just need notice so we can get the skis from our place on Lake Mead. Maybe even do the get together at Mead?

"plan it & they will come"
Blue water casino/parker strip sounds good. It's a 20 minute car ride to havasu springs or 35-40 minutes to havasu city in case you want more riding room.

    time is a runnin' out.

I would suggest before Memorial Day weekend & Havasu (of course). Will May 19th & 20th work? Weather is still decent, it will be busy, but not overly crowded, water will be warming up....

We missed you all at Havasu over Easter (except for Pirate33, they had the whole crew there)!

It was a great time to be there, good weather & manageable crowds.

We did a long ride from Havasu up to Laughlin and back, had a great time. It did get a bit dicey on the way back looking for open fuel docks. We were able to fill up in Needles just as one of the guys on a RXP was showing zero bars!
