Watercross of Texas made intake grates. I sold a sea-doo one on ebay a while back and deleted the pic. My brother ran one on his SL900 but bolt must have backed out because one day it disappeared.

I think the thing with the worx grate right now is yeah, there's people that wouldn't mind trying them, but since there's not many on the *used* market, nobody wants to fork the money over for a new one. The r&d and others can be had in the $40-60 range shipped which makes them a very appealing and realistic option vs. the worx. Just like the Jet Dynamics grate, I have one, paid the $$$ for one new back in the day, but wouldn't do it again.

Figured I'd do a side by side comparison pics for a few Polaris grates.

Thanks to 785 Lugs for the BRAND NEW DG, and the JD grates.

Grates are (clockwise starting from top right):

Stock polaris (black with 4 bars)

Ocean Pro (purple)

DG open grate (blue) It came in a ride plate extension combo for 92-93 SL

Stock Polaris SLX PRO 785 R&D Aquavein
(R&D 650 version is similar but doesn't have center bar)

And going up from bottom left);
DG Outlaw (NEW one)

Jet Dynamics (unsure of model designation) single center bar with scoop

R&D 750SL Aquavein (SL750/Hurricane model)



The OP is quite similar to the stock grate, but it does have a slightly longer "scoop" on the end. Also the ends of the "scoop" are bent up slightly. It also sits deeper in the water than the stock grate, as you can see in the side profile pic.
