How did the voyage with the torch, running motor, lake and thermo switch go?
Did you keep it on the trailer? Or were you floating on it with the seat off?

There is one on ebay for about $100. I do not have it off the trailer yet. Thinking of doing it at the dock since the plug is blind. the sensor is pretty primitive, so i am questioning whether it is this sensor or the wire.

actually it's standard automotive BEHR TSW 40 (70C-65C) M14x1,5 thermoswitch
OEM part numbers: TSW 40, 70808872, 8.185.05, EAN: 4250192908196
can be purchased by any automotive spare parts supplier for 15-20 EUR
