    Do I need to do anything with the rubber pads on the hull that sit under the engine case?

    I bought a GPR hull and was going to put a 65U 1200 motor in that I have , but I found an XL1200ltd with a blown rear cylinder that was cheap . I rebuilt the Powervalve engine and put it in the GPR , easiest 70mph I ever found .
    I still have the XL1200ltd hull and was thinking about installing the 65U engine in it . It looks straight forward enough.

    I'm mostly doing long range "touring" type riding right now. Not having any storage on the raider hull, and a small gas tank is a pain. The 1100 gets better mpg because of the smaller 38mm carbs, and to a small extent, the smaller displacement. I might rebuild and re-install the 1200 66v at some point. The 66v was already blown up when I bought it, so at least I won't know what I'm missing.

    The rubber block on the bottom of motor will have to come off.Far as hull rubber blocks pretty sure they can stay in.

    Was trying to find that thread you mentioned about making the GPR display work with the 1100 but couldnt find it. Have any info you can give on that?

    Stephen did you ever come to a conclusion on what you was going to do with the gpr?And thanks for adding that post for him.

    Thanks for adding that link. Pretty much explained what I was thinking would need to happen after looking over wiring diagrams between the two. I'm potentially going to be installing a xlt 1200 display into my 1100 raider. Waiting to talk to my friend who is parting out the xlt to see what he is wanting for it.

    Yeah currently im using the gpr display on both 1100 conversions but going to change to the suv/gp1200 display since they are straight plug and play and have more functions like clock and can set alarm codes plus gpr displays have a habit of sun cracking around reset button and allowing moisture in so u have to buy a screen cover or seal the cracks.
