    After pump plug kit I"m running 56.6 with the tired 63m. I have a 65u right now that I'm rebuilding.

    I wanted to add that I used the waveraider throttle cable instead of the GPR cable. I was able to use the GPR's choke cable, but I had to modify the choke lever a little bit. In the choke lever's off position, it was about 10% applied on the carb side. I took the choke lever apart and modified the stop to allow me to turn it backward more. I used a single wave raider water box, and a GP1200 gauge cluster.

    I went to a '05 big hub pump on the GPR, still a 66v impeller, but now I"m getting 59mph on 1/4 tank of fuel and superman stance. Still running the worn out 63m. I put a 65u in a XL, and it's running 58.5. I'll be converting my 63m to a 65u soon. Love the power of the 65u.

    Keep the info going on those conversions - as far as i think - the gpr's are best wave jumping hulls - actually best wave landing hulls - the best gpr handling is with 800 eng - so 65u moved max backwars will be even better ski

    Wave Raider 1100 motor swap to a 01 gp1200r hull

    65u is the way to go for mods but 63m for the less mechanical people cause the 1 external fuel pump on 63m vs 3 sep. internals on the 65u can be a headache to find performance problems like a creased FP diaphragm plus 63m electronics are compacted on the motor so less wiring in your way.Pretty simple it takes knowledge and experience to get power so if you dont have that I probably wouldn’t go for that cause little mistakes can equal big problems.Far as the conversions I have a 66v,65u,63m all in gpr hulls and my favorite by far is the 63m out the box. Dont get me wrong you can take the time to tune the 66v and 65u to have better bottom end but im going off less knowledge to fix problems , and how they run factory.

    65u gpr

    to 65 u eng - light flywheel, ported cases, 1.5 needle seats on carbs, shaved a bit the cyl head,air filters - and maybe will use protec pipe for 650/700 to the 1200 exhaust manifold - same bolt patern
