National Guard Activated in Massachusetts to Take Children to School

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has activated the National Guard to take children to school amid a massive shortage of bus drivers.

Up to 250 Guard troops were activated this week to fill the shortage.

“The Governor’s order makes up to 250 personnel available. Beginning with training on Tuesday, 90 Guard members will prepare for service in Chelsea, Lawrence, Lowell, and Lynn,” the governor’s office announced in a statement on Monday.

“These Guard personnel will be available to serve as drivers of school transport vans known as 7D vehicles to address staffing shortages in certain districts.”

The statement added that “as with any school transportation worker, all activated Guard personnel will complete vehicle training to ensure the safety of children and families. Drivers will meet all statutory requirements for 7D drivers. Throughout the mission, the Guard will comply with all health and safety measures.”

The statement said that the “mission” to get kids to will not interfere with the Guard’s ability to respond to and assist in emergencies within the Commonwealth.

The safe and reliable transportation to school each day is critical to our children’s safety and education.

Today, I activated up to 250 members of @TheNationsFirst to support and assist local communities in their school transportation efforts.

Wow, Reno's involvement in that "bargain" is part of the history I wasn't aware of. Example #3467 why this thread is the best news source on the net.

The part I always found ridiculous is how the FL Sheriff's Assoc fought tooth & nail back in '87 against concealed carry because they said they wouldn't know who is armed. Thirty+ years later the same FSA fights tooth & nail against bringing back open carry because they say if they can see the guns they won't know who the bad guys are. I guess the moral of the story is cops 30 years ago were trained well enough NOT to automatically light up anyone visibly carrying a firearm, but no such level of training exists in the state today. Idaho doctor reports a ‘20 times increase’ of cancer in vaccinated patients

'Post-vaccine, what we are seeing is a drop in your killer T-cells, in your CD8 cells,” said Dr. Ryan Cole.

A doctor has found an increase in cancers since the COVID-19 inoculation rollout.

On March 18, Dr. Ryan Cole, a board-certified pathologist and owner and operator of a diagnostics lab, reported to the public in a video produced by Idaho state government’s “Capitol Clarity” project, that he is seeing a massive ‘uptick’ in various autoimmune diseases and cancers in patients who have been vaccinated.

This doctor trained at the Mayo Clinic and runs the largest independent testing laboratory in Idaho.

“Since January 1, in the laboratory, I’m seeing a 20 times increase of endometrial cancers over what I see on an annual basis,” reported Dr. Cole in the video clip shared on Twitter.

“I’m not exaggerating at all because I look at my numbers year over year, I’m like ‘Gosh, I’ve never seen this many endometrial cancers before’,” he continued.

Explaining his findings at the March 18 event, Cole told Idahoans that the vaccines seem to be causing serious autoimmune issues, in a way he described as a “reverse HIV” response.

Cole explained that two types of cells are required for adequate immune system function: “Helper T-cells,” also called “CD4 cells,” and “killer T-cells,” often known as “CD8 cells.”

NBA Won’t Force Vaccine on Elite Athletes, But Staff Will be Mandated to Get the Jab

The jabbed and the jabbed not.

In another example of how privileged people aren’t having to follow the same rules as everyone else, the NBA won’t force elite athletes to take the COVID-19 vaccine despite staff being mandated to get it.

Wealthy NBA stars have made themselves the latest exempted class after their union (the NBPA) “refused to budge on its demand that players not be required to take the vaccine.”

Around 100 million Americans will be forced to get jabbed if they want to keep their jobs after Biden’s executive order, but the 15 per cent of NBA players who remain unvaccinated will be left alone.

“Any proposal that mandates vaccination remains a “non-starter,” reports ESPN.

However, both referees and NBS staffers will be required to get vaccinated if they want to stay in a job.

The union is refusing to give ground despite the NBA previously announcing that by October 1 anyone who came within 15 feet of players would be required to vaccinated.

This is yet another example of the two tier society being created by ‘mandatory’ vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions.

We saw this again this week during the Met Gala, when staffers serving the uber elite who arrived for the expensive event were made to wear masks but the rich guests were not.

So long as you have enough money, clout and prestige you’re not subject to the same rules that ordinary people have to submit to.

Also, many of the liberal counties made it extremely difficult to get a permit. In all of Broward county there was only one CCW issued. In '87 the state legislature passed our preemption law to prevent individual counties & municipalities from enforcing their own gun laws/odinances. This same legislation also brought CCW permitting under the purview of the state alone. They didn't want unelected bureacrats at the FDLE(state law enforcement) in charge, so in an effort to keep the permitting process accountable to the voters they handed over its management to the Commissioner of Ag, which is a statewide elected position. Unfortunately, the bargain they made to get it passed was an end to permitless open carry, & we've spent 30+ years trying to get it back.

Texas has been an open carry state for several years and as of September 1st, no permit is required to do so; Constitutional Carry! There have been few problems over the years with concealed or open carry LTC holders. For those that have used poor judgement or committed crimes, they are held accountable. That said, very few people carry openly. Most carry concealed.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (State Police) oversees and is responsible for the entire LTC program, issuing License to Carry and training of state certified firearm Instructors (not employees of DPS). DPS's program is about as good as it gets and avoids the all the pitfalls you express with your state. Texas is a "Shall Issue" state. Firearms are NOT registered here. Criminal background checks are conducted at point of purchase with required ATF forms via FFL dealers. BTW, the Brady Bill is still active......but Private sales remain private!
