Two Paterson City Council Democrats Indicted on Voter Fraud Charges After Using Mail-In Ballots to Steal Election

    Democrats were caught cheating again.

New Jersey – Two Paterson City Council Democrats were indicted on voter fraud charges after harvesting ballots and mailing them in bundled packs.

Four Patterson City Council Democrats were caught in the illegal scheme last June and refused to step down.

Democrats Alex Mendez and Michael Jackson were initially charged last June along with fellow Patterson City Council members Shelim Khalique and Abu Razyen.

In a press conference, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said the Democrat City Council members tried to interfere with a special election last year with an illegal ballot harvesting scheme.

    NBC New York reported:

Two city council members in Paterson have been indicted for allegedly interfering with a special election last year, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal announced Wednesday, in a case cited by then-President Donald Trump in his unsuccessful lawsuit to try and invalidate voting by mail in New Jersey.

Alex Mendez won the special election to fill a council seat on May 12, but voter fraud claims soon surfaced. The state attorney general’s office initiated a probe after U.S. Postal Service inspectors said they found hundreds of mail-in ballots located in a mailbox in Paterson, along with more found in nearby Haledon.

Ultimately, the Passaic County Board of Elections decided not to count 800 ballots cast in the race and a judge ordered a new election for last November.

Mendez, 45, and Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, 49, were originally charged in a criminal complaint last June. Despite the pending criminal charges, Mendez won a tight race in November.

The indictments handed up last month charge Mendez and Jackson with multiple counts including election fraud, unauthorized possession of ballots and falsifying or tampering with public records. The state attorney general’s office alleged the men collected ballots from voters and delivered them to county officials, which candidates are prohibited from doing.

Cop-Hating Portland Commissioner Makes the News Again: This Time She Was Accused of Hit-and-Run – Then Hid in Her Apartment and Denied It Was Her

Jo Ann Hardesty is back in the news.

Portland city commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty has spearheaded the movement to defund the police, and has even demanded that vichy “mayor” Ted Wheeler hand her control of the police bureau.

Back in November Hardesty called the police in neighboring Clark County, Washington, during a Lyft ride home from a casino. The Porland city commissioner was not content with the Lyft driver following company protocols and leaving the windows cracked a little bit. Evidently, Hardesty started throwing a temper tantrum, and the Lyft driver pulled off at a gas station and ended the ride.

Hardesty refused to get out of his car.

Both parties ended up placing calls to the police.

The Oregonian laters obtained and posted the 911 calls.

Now Jo Ann Hardesty is back in the news.

A Portland driver reported that she was rear-ended Wednesday afternoon while stopped at a traffic light. The woman who hit her was Jo Ann Hardesty who then allegedly took off from the scene of the crime.

According to our Gateway Pundit source, police officers working in Portland went to her apartment but she refused to open the door. She now claims she has not been contacted by the police.

On Thursday Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty denied that she was involved in a minor hit-and-run accident in Southeast Portland that another motorist reported to police.

    Oregon Live reported:

The driver reported the collision after returning home. She told police she had been side-by-side earlier on the road with the car that struck her and saw the other driver on the phone or looking down in her lap before the accident.

A driver also gave police a license plate of the car that struck her. Hardesty was listed as the suspect on a computer dispatch report. No injuries were reported.

Hardesty said the allegations are false, according to her spokesman, Matt McNally.

“Commissioner Hardesty has asked me to let you know that she takes these accusations very seriously. She denies the accusation that she drove her vehicle in the last 24 hours, that she was involved in any vehicle accident and says she has not been contacted by the Portland Police Bureau regarding any such incident,” he said by email.

The commissioner has planned a video news conference at 12:30 p.m. to answer any questions.

Hardesty also reportedly blamed police for starting fires during protests.

    She’s a real peach.

Majority of House Democrats vote in favor of lowering voting age to 16

Of course. The Democrats know full well that lowering the voting age would automatically give them millions of new voters, since American teenagers are being indoctrinated in Leftist schools. The Republican Party needs to become much more aggressive in confronting the Left. Now that the Left controls Congress and the White House, there is no telling what they will do in order to obtain permanent political power.

The Senate filibuster is the only mechanism that we have to prevent some of the most dangerous legislation that we have ever seen from passing. The people of West Virginia need to make sure that Senator Joe Manchin does not break his promise to end the filibuster.

Democrats need election fraud and easily duped morons whose brains are not fully formed in order to “win” elections.

Majority of House Democrats vote in favor of lowering voting age to 16

Progressive Democrats in the House of Representatives unsuccessfully pushed an amendment lowering the federal voting age to 16 as part of the H.R. 1 voting rights package on Wednesday.

The vote was 125-302 in the House with the majority of Democrats voting in favor, 125-93, according to C-SPAN.

“A sixteen-year-old in 2021 possesses a wisdom and a maturity that comes from 2021 challenges, 2021 hardships, and 2021 threats,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley, one of the members of Congress behind the amendment, said in a statement on Monday. “Now is the time for us to demonstrate the courage that matches the challenges of the modern-day sixteen- and seventeen-year-old.”

Pressley, Rep. Grace Meng, D-N.Y., and Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., reintroduced the amendment on Monday.

Pressley said in February she was “shocked” that lowering the legal voting age to 16 is a “polarizing” subject of debate.

Pressley made the comment during a Facebook Live conversation with Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., and author Ibram X. Kendi.

“Dr. Kendi, I was shocked by how polarizing an issue this was, and listen, when I would tell people [the late Rep.] John Lewis is an original co-sponsor of this — you know, our young people deserve to have a stakeholder in our democracy,” Pressley, a member of the so-called “Squad,” said in response to Kendi, who said lowering the voting age is an example of anti-racist policy.

The idea isn’t brand new. The amendment to lower the voting age was first attached to H.R. 1 in March 2019, when the measure failed after garnering just 126 votes in the House.

“Beginning at the age of 16, young people are contributing to both the labor force and their local economies by paying income taxes, and yet they are deprived of the opportunity to exercise their right to vote,” Pressley said on the House floor in 2019. “In this country, we affirm that when a person walks into the voting booth and pulls that lever, there is no meritocracy or hierarchy. The booth is the equalizer.”
