Pentagon Deploys 750 Active-Duty Army Personnel To The Already Tens Of Thousands Of National Guard In The Capitol…

So much for not being able to use active duty troops against American citizens…

    Via politico:

The Pentagon has authorized hundreds of active-duty troops to support enhanced security measures related to President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, as local law enforcement continues to track threats of violence in the nation’s capital in the days leading up to the ceremony, according to two defense officials.

The 750 active-duty personnel deployed this week include service members with expertise in handling chemical, biological, nuclear, radiological and explosive weapons, as well as explosive ordnance disposal and medical teams skilled in trauma response, said one defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive operations.

Hope you enjoy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day today.

Grand Old Partisan reminds us today of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s meeting with Vice President Richard Nixon in 1957. They met on Capitol Hill for a discussion of ways to overcome Democrat opposition to the Republican civil rights agenda.

That’s something that you won’t hear about today from the liberal media.

One of the circumstances that would allow the deployment of active US troops inside the USA would be the:

    <dramatic music> Insurrection act

That's very concerning as while I know about the executive order about election interference and all, I don't quite recall hearing about President Trump invoking the insurrection act.

But between the Federalizing of the National Guard (many were just sworn in as "special US Marshals") and this news of a Pentagon Ordered Deployment of Active Troops, they are either expecting either a rebellion, an insurrection, or perhaps a Chinese paratrooper attack on washington. that would certainly clean up all the loose ends..or would it?

I just can't imagine what might be going on...or could I?

We'll know alot more in the next 48 hours as the clock runs out on the first deadline imposed to inaugurate the next president

    --------------------------

The Insurrection Act of 1807 is a United States federal law that empowers the President of the United States to deploy U.S. military and federalized National Guard troops within the United States in particular circumstances, such as to suppress civil disorder, insurrection, or rebellion.
