In case there's anyone left here who still thinks this is about racism (and if there is, you're an idiot and on the wrong site), the esteemed Heather Mac Donald lays out some facts.

    https://www.city-journal.org/terrify...he-rule-of-law

Facts don’t matter to the academic victimology narrative. Far from destroying the black body, whites are the overwhelming target of interracial violence. Between 2012 and 2015, blacks committed 85.5 percent of all black-white interracial violent victimizations (excluding interracial homicide, which is also disproportionately black-on-white). That works out to 540,360 felonious assaults on whites. Whites committed 14.4 percent of all interracial violent victimization, or 91,470 felonious assaults on blacks. Blacks are less than 13 percent of the national population.

If white mobs were rampaging through black business districts, assaulting passersby and looting stores, we would have heard about it on the national news every night. But the black flash mob phenomenon is grudgingly covered, if at all, and only locally.

The national media have been insisting on the theme of the allegedly brutal Minneapolis police department. They said nothing as black-on-white robberies rose in downtown Minneapolis late last year, along with savage assaults on passersby. Why are the Minneapolis police in black neighborhoods? Because that’s where violent crime is happening, including shootings of two-year-olds and lethal beatings of 75-year-olds. Just as during the Obama years, the discussion of the allegedly oppressive police is being conducted in the complete absence of any recognition of street crime and the breakdown of the black family that drives it.

Once the violence began, any effort to “understand” it should have stopped, since that understanding is inevitably exculpatory. The looters are not grieving over the stomach-churning arrest and death of George Floyd; they are having the time of their lives. You don’t protest or mourn a victim by stealing oxycontin, electronics, jewelry, and sneakers.

Democrat Governor Northam Rejected White House Request to Deploy Virginia’s National Guard to DC

KKK-Blackface Governor Ralph Northam (D) rejected the White House’s request to deploy Virginia’s National Guard to DC to help quell rioters.
Left-wing terrorists descended upon the White House Sunday night, setting fires around the area.

So the Pentagon on Monday requested that Virginia send in between 3,000 to 5,000 National Guardsmen to bolster enforcement.

    Northam said no.

“I am not going to send our men and women in uniform of a very proud National Guard to Washington for a photo-op,” Northam said

    Via Richmond Times Dispatch:

Gov. Ralph Northam on Monday denied a request from the Trump administration to deploy Virginia’s National Guard to “dominate” protesters in Washington, D.C.

The Pentagon on Monday requested that Virginia send between 3,000 and 5,000 members of its National Guard to fight unrest in the nation’s capital, which like many cities across the country, has seen peaceful and violent demonstrations in protest of police brutality, particularly toward people of color.

In a call with Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Monday afternoon, Northam declined Esper’s request, out of concern that D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser had not been consulted.

The Northam administration also expressed concern about President Donald Trump’s rhetoric during a call with governors at noon Monday, during which he urged governors to “dominate” protests with an “occupying force,” a military reference.

“When this request came in, we quickly learned it had not been made at Mayor Bower’s request or coordinated with her, and we have heightened concern based on the President’s remarks that the Administration is looking to use the Guard to escalate — not deescalate — the situation,” said Northam chief of staff Clark Mercer in a statement.

US Attorney General Bill Barr on Tuesday warned rioters that law enforcement will be stepping up their response tonight after he walked the streets of DC last night like a boss.

Good News for Looters! Mayor de Blasio REFUSES to Call in National Guard tonight After Mass Looting and Cop Beatings Last Night

    What a fool.

On Monday night looters and thugs beat police officers and looted the premier stores in Manhattan including Macy’s Department Store.

But Mayor de Blasio refuses to take action to eliminate the rioting and looting.

On Tuesday New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told reporters he would not bring in the National Guard to protect the people and businesses of New York City.

Mayor de Blasio: We do not need nor do we think it’s wise for the National Guard to be in New York City, nor any armed forces.

    Except the armed looters.

We do not need the National Guard to come into New York City. When outside armed forces come into communities, especially these intense situations they have not been trained for, that’s a dangerous scenario. We have 36,000 police officers who will keep this city safe. pic.twitter.com/ZSYCxRQ5jv

    This man is a fool.

    Good luck, NYC.

WATCH looters use FORKLIFT to break into California store in broad daylight

A video has emerged showing vandals using heavy equipment on the doors of the Best Buy store in Fairfield, a city in Solano County, located between San Francisco and Sacramento

A particularly brazen attempt by looters to storm a store in Fairfield, California, has been caught on video, showing them commandeering what appears to be a telescopic forklift to force their way in.

NYPD Chief of Department speaks out, ‘outraged’ at Gov. Andrew Cuomo

First he killed thousands of seniors in nursing homes and now he’s taking down the whole city. He could override de Blasio and allow the National Guard to restore order – but he said he won’t. And media cleans up after him, like the man behind the circus elephant.

Trump urges NYC to activate National Guard in response to unrest

NYPD Chief of Department speaks out, ‘outraged’ at Gov. Andrew Cuomo

By Paul Martinka and Tina Moore, NY Post:

    • De Blasio rejects National Guard’s help to control NYC looting
    • Cuomo hesitant to ‘displace’ de Blasio to send National Guard to NYC
    • Worse than war: My night besieged by looters and thugs in NYC
    • Gov. Cuomo slams de Blasio, NYPD for failing to protect NYC

The NYPD’s top uniformed cop talked to the Post in an exclusive interview Tuesday about how his cops have been “giving their blood” as they’ve responded to protests that have become increasingly violent over the past five days and raged against Governor Andrew Cuomo’s criticismof his department.

Chief Terence Monahan said he had slept for only three hours since the fifth night of protests and that all his guys are “cut up” from struggling with troublemakers in the city.

“Our guys are tired, they’re bleeding,” Monahan said. “I think everyone you’re going to see is walking around cut up. But they’re out there again tonight. They’re out there giving their blood to keep this city safe.”

Despite the cops’ efforts, “just about all” of those arrested will be back out on the streets because of bail reform, Monahan said, noting that some people arrested for guns might remain behind bars.

“But when it comes to a burglary, which is a commercial store, which is looting, they’re back out,” he said. “Because of bail reform you’re back out on the street the next day. You cannot be held on any sort of bail. I spoke to (Manhattan District Attorney) Cy Vance about that. He told me there was nothing he could do.”

Asked about Cuomo’s comments that the NYPD wasn’t doing its job, Monahan, who joined the NYPD 38 years ago, said he was “extremely outraged.”

“I’m watching my men and women out there dealing with stuff that no cop should ever have to deal with, bricks, bottles, rocks,” he said. “Hit in the face with bottles and continuing to go forward to make an arrest.”

Monahan praised the NYPD leadership for being out in the street with their men.

“This leadership team from every angle of this department is out on the streets, working side by side with their men and for a Governor to be sitting in his office saying that we’re not doing a good job — I’m outraged,” he charged.

Even Monahan, a Bronx native, was out on the street Monday night — and ended up with gauze on his elbow.

“A group of looters last night running through the streets,” he said. “We have to grab them. I went down, went over, hit by a bike, went down, covered my arm up with blood. But we locked ’em up.”

Monahan said he’d been involved in similar incidents over the years, but noted: “I’ve never seen anything like this.”

    Democrats at War

The Democrat Party is at war with America. That is the clear message of the Democrats’ responses to the crises that have engulfed our nation over the last six months, made our streets war zones, and destroyed the small business communities that are the life blood of our system. When the country was attacked by a deadly virus from China in January, the Democrats’ attacked the president’s efforts to stop it at the border, then blamed him for the 100,000 deaths that followed. Yet Democrat governors controlled the health systems of every major center of the covid19 devastation and were 100% responsible for any policies that failed.

When the president attempted to re-open the economy in May, Democrat governors and mayors issued draconian orders to arrest individuals violating their “social distancing” injunctions by strolling in parks, lounging on beaches and – worst of all - attempting to revive their barbershops and salons. As a direct consequence of these imposed shutdowns forty million Americans lost their jobs. To many of us, the Democrats’ purpose was clear: to depress the economy and blame the consequences on the president. This became the incessant theme of their political utterances and ads.

Yet these seditious Democrat attacks on the commander-in-chief in the midst of the war against an invisible enemy maintained a cover of plausibility because of the uncertainties surrounding the virus and how it was spread. This mask was dropped when a civil insurrection erupted in the wake of the horrific police murder of George Floyd. In its wake America’s streets were filled with massive crowds of protesters and as it turned out domestic terrorists.

These terrorists, led by the communist organization Antifa used the protests as a cover for violent and hate-filled attacks on ordinary citizens and their businesses. As these attacks escalated into the torching of city centers and the devastation of poor communities, the hypocrisies of Democrats and their true agendas became inescapably clear.

Virtually all the mayhem was centered in Democrat-controlled states and cities. The same mayors who had jailed local business people and ordinary citizens for congregating in groups of more than ten were utterly silent as crowds of thousands formed to tear their cities apart.

Meanwhile not a single word was uttered, not a single arrest made, by these same Democrat governors and mayors to prevent the protesters and rioters from violating the social distancing ordinances they had used to close churches and houses of worship the week before.

While stores, apartment buildings and even police stations were torched by violent radicals, while ordinary citizens were being terrorized, Democrat governors were reluctant to call out their national guards and nip the riots in the bud.
