House passes $8.3 billion measure to fight coronavirus

The House overwhelmingly passed nearly $8 billion in emergency funding to combat the coronavirus on Wednesday amid growing concerns about a widespread outbreak within the United States.

The 415-2 House vote sends the legislation to the Senate, where it will be considered Thursday. That could get the measure to the White House by the end of the week.

Congress is facing intense pressure to act quickly, with California becoming the second state on Wednesday to announce a death from the coronavirus. Eighty cases, including 11 deaths, have been reported in 13 states.

“Democrats would like to see this emergency funding package passed through the Senate by the end of the week, and we will work with the majority to make sure that that happens. I urge all of my colleagues — in the interest of time, understanding the urgency of the matter — to help us achieve this goal,” Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on Wednesday.

The House approved the bill just six hours after negotiators clinched a deal and less than 24 hours after talks seemed stuck over a few hurdles, including vaccine affordability.

In the end, lawmakers agreed to approve more than $7.76 billion to combat the coronavirus — three times the $2.5 billion initially requested by the White House. It also authorizes another $500 million in waivers for Medicare telehealth restrictions, bringing the total figure greenlighted to $8.3 billion.

It includes $2.2 billion to help federal, state and local public health agencies prepare for and respond to the coronavirus, including funds for lab testing, infection control, and tracing individuals who might have had contact with infected people. The bill also reimburses state and local governments for costs they have already incurred.

“The supplemental is not going to address everything. There's no question about that,” said Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), whose state has seen 10 coronavirus-related deaths.

“We are at the beginning. This is a giant first step forward, and I can't tell you how important the supplemental is going to be for the people of my district in my state.”

The abortion / infanticide business has always been a satanic system, and the godless Left is controlled by demonic influence. If you spend any time counseling women or protesting abortion clinics you will understand — it's all very evil and strange. The only thing that might compare is the Nazi system they set up for their genocide, or the ancient pagan rituals for child sacrifice, in places like Peru.

Democrats are officially obsessed with this evil, and they will fight to the bitter end to protect this bloody business. Just this week, we saw Schumer actually threatening the Supreme Court Judges if they dared to impede the practice. As we know, God is going to judge the Democrat's celebration of the shedding of innocent blood, and it won't be pretty.

Yep it's gotten to the obvious point that it's waaaaaaaaaay more than just "pro-choice". The satanic evil intent just flows out of them now by their own mouths. By their own words it cannot be denied.

Elizabeth Warren Drops Out Of US Presidential Race

Elizabeth Warren suspended her campaign on Thursday morning after her horrible Super Tuesday performance.

The much expected move clears the way for a two-man race between former vice president Joe Biden, 77, and Democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, 78.

On Wednesday, her campaign said she was assessing the future of her candidacy. “Last night, we fell short of viability goals and projections and we are disappointed in the results,” campaign manager Roger Lau said in an email to staff.

Warren had a dismal Super Tuesday. The one-time front runner in the 2020 race for the Democratic presidential nomination didn’t place higher than third in any of the 14 states that held primaries — including in her home state of Massachusetts. She took just 61 delegates, while Biden took 566 and garnered 501. Former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, who dropped out on Wednesday, wasn’t far ahead of Warren, with 53 delegates.

When he dropped out, Bloomberg endorsed Biden, as did Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who barely made a wave throughout the campaign. Former mayor Peter Buttigieg, who dropped out before Super Tuesday, also endorsed Biden, as did former Texas Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, who dropped out in November.

Warren made no endorsement upon her exit. “The Massachusetts senator has spoken with Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, the leading candidates in the race, according to their campaigns,” the Associated Press reported. “She is assessing who would best uphold her agenda, according to another person who requested anonymity to discuss private conversations.”

On Thursday morning the Warren campaign made it official.

President Trump enjoys taunting Warren with the nickname “Pocahontas,” and it clearly gotten under her skin. With her 2020 ambitions coming into view last year, Warren decided to get a DNA test to prove her longtime claim. It didn’t go well.

The test results showed she may have had an American Indian ancestor — six to 10 generations ago. That means she’s anywhere from 1/64 to 1/1,024 American Indian. To put those terms into percentages, that means she’s between 1.562 percent and .0924 percent. So that means she’s anywhere from 98.437 percent to 99.9 percent white.

328 Chinese Nabbed Trying To Enter U.S. Illegally At Southern Border

Data from the Department of Homeland Security shows that 328 immigrants from China were caught trying to he border illegally so far this year.

Three other people from South Korea were arrested at the border, The Washington Times reported.

The report comes as the coronavirus continues to spread across China, where there are more than 80,000 confirmed cases and 2,902 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins. In South Korea, there are more than 6,000 active cases and 35 deaths.

“All told, more than 1,000 migrants a day are caught attempting to sneak in illegally from Mexico, which detected its first case last week, and since has identified five others,” The Times wrote. “And if that many are being caught each day, an unknown but significant number are getting through undetected, Border Patrol agents say.”

“The journey to the U.S. border puts migrants in poor conditions,” a Homeland Security official told The Washington Times. “We don’t know if they have come into contact with someone who has the flu, there is no passport, medical history, or travel manifest.”

President Trump has suggested that he might move to close the southern border, but so far has made no attempt to do so.

    Wrote The Times:

Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad F. Wolf raised the issue Tuesday with the House Homeland Security Committee, saying that illegal immigration presents a unique threat compared to legal travelers from China, who are being screened on arrival.

“The individuals that are coming in at our 11 airports that are being funneled, we have very good information of their travel history, of their medical history. We’re not going to have that same set of fidelity for the individuals if this continues to grow at the southwest border,” he said.

Mr. Wolf also said the spread of the virus in Mexico creates new complications, after the U.S. has forced tens of thousands of asylum-seekers to wait in that country while their cases are proceeding in American immigration courts.

Late last week a federal court issued a ruling that could result in thousands of them being admitted immediately.

The ruling was stayed, but Mr. Wolf said it could be a danger spot should the courts demand their entry.

New Study Finds FBI Dropped Investigations on Terrorists Behind: Ft. Hood, Pulse Nightclub, Garland and Boston Marathon Islamist Attacks

A new study released this week by the DOJ Inspector General found that the FBI dropped investigations on the Islamic terrorists behind several deadly terrorist attacks.

** Ft. Hood – Nidal Hasan
** Boston Marathon – Tamerlan Tsarnaev
** Garland, TX – Elton Simpson
** Orlando Pulse Nightclub – Omar Mateen
** NY Attacks – Ahmad Rahami
** Ft. Lauderdale Airport – Esteban Santiago

Pulse Nightclub terrorists Omar Mateen murdered 49 gays on a dance floor before shooting himself.

The Boston Marathon bombers killed three and injured 264 people.

And then it took the FBI days to figure out the identity of the killers.

The FBI was looking at these individuals but dropped the investigations before these Islamists went on their deadly killing sprees.

This is really bad news for America’s premier law enforcement agency.

DEVELOPING: New IG report “…we found at least six attacks committed in the United States by individuals who the FBI had previously assessed or investigated…” including 2009 Fort Hood, 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, 2016 Pulse Nightclub READ: https://t.co/0zNzEHTZSm @CBSNews pic.twitter.com/msBeTbZxEp

    The full report is here.

Of course, the FBI had plenty of resources available to spy on Donald Trump and his family and to send 25 agents and a CNN camera crew to Florida to arrest Roger Stone and his wife at 6 AM in the morning.
