Everyone mentions the wave eater clips. What big advantage do I get by replacing them?

Save yourself from powervalve failures; they keep the powervalves from dropping down too far and destroying your piston or more. It's a must do for you, bud!

Yep, I've been explained & I didn't know how important it was. But knowing that my XLT has about 170 hours on it. I think it's time to do so then. Thanks guys!

Guys, something I haven't mentioned here for a bit but I need to & hopefully I'll get the answer I want. I currently have the following mods on my XLT: Free Flow Exhaust, R&D Intake Grate, R&D Ride Plate, Home made Pump Plug Kit, Jetworks Hole-Shot Kit, 5 Deg. GPR Nozzle, R&D D-Plate + sensor. I continue to have the hardest time to get outta the hole. The hole shot kit isn't pulling me out fast enough. I compared it to my friend's 02 XLT We almost came out even. Ofcourse I did a bit faster but I notice I continue to cavitate on my way outta the hole. I cavitate alot. I have yet to install the 13/19 SOLAS that I have sitting in the back of my truck. Will this solve the issue? I truly hope so. Any & all input welcome. I plan on posting this as a new thread on the Performance section too.

Something that just came to mind when I was replying to another thread; on the XL's, you have a bucket under the rear seat that can be used as a cooler. Only problem is that it gets hot there and melts your ice pretty quick. Wal-Mart sells a soft sided cooler that is an almost perfect drop-in for the bucket; helps keeps the ice around longer, plus you can grab it and go.

right now i run a shuttlecraft to base out of... only low idle about 1/4 mile to tie off in a cove.... so i dont use the rear for a cooler anymore, but thats a ggod idea to make the ice last...
