2012 Oil Capacity error?
So I check my service manual..and it shows the same thing...4.3 LITERS of oil, or 4.5 US Gallons.
I DID read in the service manual that the oil system was redesigned for 2012, got rid of a scavenge pump etc..but surely 4.5 GALLONS must be a typo...I assume since 4.3 Liters converts to 4.5 Quarts..that's what they must have meant.

Yeah it must mean quarts lol. Gallons? Sheesh that's a ton of oil!

that's 4.5 qts if you get ALL the oil out, and that wont happen the most i ever got outta mine was 3.3 to 3.5 qts don't over fill it or it will run sluggish, been there done that..........

2012 owners / operators manual page 88 oil and filter replacement 3.28 us qt without filter 3.17 us qt total oil qty 4.55 us qt
