Think this is a good deal? Thoughts?

Yea, I'd give $400 for it, but not much more. The trailer would probably bring $100 - 200. The engine? Who knows. It may be a cheap fix, or you might end up parting it out. Plan on the electric trim not working, too.
I'd take a booster pack and compression tester and run a compression test before shelling out money.

Think that it would be worth a rebuild

Who knows? Depends on what's wrong with it. Does it just need rings? Does it need to be bored? Does it need a crank? Did a rod break and go out the bottom of the crankcase? Assume the worst.
All 5 of my 750s were fixer-uppers. One worked out to be a good deal, 4 were money losers. My STX is worth almost as much as I put into it.

Looks pretty clean...I would probably go $350 on that...Worse comes to worse you part it out and make a couple bucks
