Can any one help me? I have a 2002 msx 140, it idles and if the throttle is squeezed a little it will get up to 3500 rpm and no more, after the "sweet spot" it just dies, like its flooding, back to about 1500 to 2000 rpm, a bit of history, it sat for more than 3 yrs i think before i got it, so had a lot of corrosion and I had to replace the computer (it was done in the shop), it has been going really well and then recently started playing up when it was started, then it would come good for the whole day, now it gets to the 3500rpm range and thats it.
    What can I do?

If it sat for 3 years you need to have the carbs ran through, at a minimum the diaprham is trash. If this ski is fuel injected then it sounds like a computer problem to me.

It is fuel injected, but I have replaced the computer, it has been going ok with intermittant issues. plugs were fouled so i replaced them.
