    95 sl 750 1000 cc?

    Hey hulkers

    I have a friend who is looking into buying this ski http://madison.craigslist.org/boa/2847912504.html

    he talked to the owner today that informed him it was bored to 1,000 CC.. has anyone heard of this before? Is this going to be an issue? or what do you guys think, I have no pictures of it.

    Ya, im kinda thinking the same thing, only way i see that is if it had the PSI on it like Keddanos but ive never seen any other SL with all that PSI performance stuff on it like Dans LOL. we are planning to take a look at it on Saturday, im sure i can easily tell looking at the engine if its been modified.

    Check the color picture Xlint posted of the cylinders with the gas valves on it, the 1000 kit will have them, the 925 will have the boss for them. I bet it was bored 1mm over and the guy has no clue what he's talking about.

    There is still a 925 kit in Michigan waiting to be used by someone for a project.

    Without HEAVY moddification, or the PSI parts, it can't be more than 800cc.

    Alright well going to take a look at this ski today, minus the guy being an idiot. he also told me its bored to a 1,000 so i asked the most basic question I could, is the engine blue, and he said Yup , so derr not 1,000!!! he said his buddy built it and had it bored...sooo 1 his buddy is also an idiot or 2 his buddy lied. LOL.

    Ask were the pistons came from and what ski and reciepts from parts. lol
