    Viper alarm 5701 vs 5901

Any of you guys got these... I'm trying to decide between the two, but am wondering I can't find from looking online if these both have a hood pin so that if the truck or car is armed and someone opens the hood of the vehicle if the alarm will go off??? does anybody know?

Also how hard/much is it to get extra outside/interior sirens? anyone done this.

    Thanks ya'll!

Most alarms do have extra inputs for rear gate or hood or something like that. I have that type on my Avalanche with the extra inputs for the tailgate and the fender boxes.

A buddy of mine has one. It's pretty sensitive IMO, but I suppose that is what you want. Tell your insurance company that you have a Viper alarm on your car and they will decrease your insurance premium
