EX Intercooler Piping questions?
I was able to use part of the X skis intercooler hoses to install my EX IC on the side where the resonator went,
1. Any big difference on using rigid Aluminum tubing rather than the kevlar fiber stock hoses cut down?
I have it pretty close to the engine and the tubing is no more than 11 or 12 inches,
I am using the rear air and the stock exhaust exit location with no resonator,
I was going to modify my exhaust hose to run lower, everything works now but it is really cramped in there,
thanks,

I prefer rigid. Never have tried moding OEM hose to fit external location.
But when I had my T-X you could see alot of flex in the OEM hose under boost.
I went with riva x relocate setup and noticed a difference which has rigid pipes and is about all that is changed as far as setup.

It normally will make a difference in holeshot as the hose will flex, exspand, give a bit and the pipe wont, but does it really matter for a rec boat on a budget? NOT to me. Good job.

Thanks,
I was going to buy some aluminum tubing and use some for the super charger hoses and use some to make the exhaust hose go lower and a more direct rout,

as long as you dont have any leaks youll be fine with the stock hose...just remove the fa from the intake manifold and that will more than make up for any possible hesitation in throttle response.
