Adding Electric Trim
Has anyone added electric trim to an SLT? My SLT did not have jet pump when I purchased it. I added a unit that had trim instead of reverse. Wondering if I should use the reverse cable hard mounted inside for a "fixed" trim or install a power trim unit with power trim switch and any recommendations on the best way to accomplish this.....
Thanks as always for the valuable info!

PH20craft, Beerdart and myself have all installed trim on a SLT AND kept the reverse too.

I put trim on my '96 SLTX back in '97, & kept reverse & even wired it into the MFD for postition, I wouldn't waste the time, I didn't gain much, maybe a 1/2 mph on glass & the ability to throw a big rooster tail. Depending on the model a pump wedge is alot easier if yours doesn't have it.

I have it on my 99 SLTH and it makes a noticeable difference either way. Just not as much difference as it does on a 2 seater. I think its a very worthwhile add on. It got me around 2 MPH up top
