IMPORTANT..New supercharger kits ??
I think BRP has come out with a new SC rebuild kit. The number of the kits I had ordered before was 420881942. These are the ones that I was selling for $127. I ordered 3 more of them and the ones that were delivered looked nothing like the other kits. They have a lot more parts and the price I pay for them increased by $148.12 !! (the retail price is now $384 on the new kit, was $165.50 on the old ones, for a $218.50 difference in retail list price) The new part number is 420881946. The date on the package is 9/12/05 so they are the latest thing available.
Needless to say, I will not be able to honor my old price of $127 on these new kits. The new price will have to be $277.
If anyone has heard anything about these new kits, please post it here.

Geeze,
Bombardier oughta handle this like car companies handle recalls when they fuck stuff up, send every SC owner this upgrade kit free of charge and let Bombardier pay for the installation..

Richard: I had spoken with Riva about 2 weeks ago. They gave me the same part # as you, but said that they could order part #........941, which supposedly was the original kit #.

Not to make you feel like Bomby doesn't treat you well enough (you already know that) but SeaDoo France offered an updated clutch to all SC skis owners who just needed to write a letter to get it, free of charge.
Even after warranty expired.
Now I am going to ask over there if it's this new kit they're talking about.
Once more European clients are treated better than US clients, which true with all brands.

So is this replacement SC clutch kit BDNJ ordered for me thru you the new kit part number 420881946?
The kit i sent BDNJ (part number 420881942) already had all parts necessary.
Gear, Ceramic Washers, Needle Bearings, Spring Washers, L nut, etc.
It had everything that goes on the clutch side of the shaft.
What extra parts does the new kit consist of?

from hat i understand thru the dealership... it's the same parts nothing changed... it's jsut that the part # comes with a much greater number of parts.... i think it comes all on the shaft and all or something? i had been looking into this last week and that's what i got out of the new part # was that they didn't upgrade, was merely a change of parts being sold/warranteed as one "kit" ...
if it is in fact an upgrade... i'll be replacing mine ASAP
