Boost Gauge, again.......
I really really want to install a boost guage.
I need one that is the easiest to install.
I have heard the mechanical are cheaper and pretty much do the same thing.
I'm looking for something that will just tell me my max pressure when I am at WOT and cruising. So I will know if something has gone wrong.
I think I remember you are supposed to be running 7 or so without vortec impeller and around 8 with it.
I know this has been run in the ground.......
Any suggestions.
I wish there was a how to but I'll try to get one together after I get mine installed.

mechanical gauges hookup by just attaching the plastic hose to the back.
Cost around $50
electronic gauges hookup by just attaching the plastic hose to the MAP sensor that comes with the gauge and a ground and positive wire.
My electronic gauge stores the highest boost and can be recalled with the touch of a button. It can be reset as well. Cost was $189
My gauge is an Auto Meter brand.

Indy, what brand is your gauge. what did it cost. Also, what keeps it from falling out in the foam.
