They must have had a lot of that ugly orange/yellow paint left over from the 2004-2005 3D's. so they used it on the RXP. That is one ugly color combo. I knew about the black and bright red and figured that one would be popular.
SD did a royal screw up by using the best hull they ever made (former 1996-2002 GTX) for their new ecno GTi and GTi SE That is the hull they should have used in the RXP from day one. Well anyway, now that they set it up to take the 4-tec. it shouldn't be long before someone drops a modded 215 hp in it and swaps out the plastic pump for an alum. one.

So this is it, all the lineups are released and NO new hull, NO new motor.
What a pathetic year, just accomoding left overs and existing parts.
Whatever.

With the least dependable engine SD ever made (951) in the 3D, I can envision the long lines at the dealers for warranty work. They had better give the 3 year extended warranty as a freebe. That way you can have 2 extra years for it to sit at the dealers waiting for back ordered parts to arrive !! Think that engine had water injestion problems before...wait until you see it in the 3D !!!!!

There won't be long lineups for service on the 951 because nobody is going to buy it.
Like I said before, you can't polish a turd. The folks at Bombi should let the 3d die and get over the fact that they made a huge mistake putting resources into the pos.
That orange on the RXP looks like something that was in front of my feet after a hard night of drinking tequila sunrises. From this point on I will call it tequila sunrise puke orange.
I sure am glad I bought mine in 2004.
I can't wait to see someone shoehorn a 215 into the GTI though.

They gave the speedster 200 -430hp using 2 of the SC IC engines!!!!
I bet that thing will haul. Especially after staging them.
Looks like the GTX Limited now has the same hull as the RXT. Modified V,Composite.
One good thing about seadoo just doing BNG is RIVA and the other aftermarket companies can continue work on there stage 3 and other parts. They don't have to worry about coming out with a 2006 lineup or standardizing.
