    Hulk, Flushing Closed-Loop cooling system

    Hulk,

    Did I read correctly in a post on the Riva sight that a 4-tec closed loop cooling system cannot be flushed, or did you mean not turning the motor on after the water hose? I thought as long as the motor was on prior to turning on the water hose it could be flushed?

    Thanks Hulk,

    I was getting a little confused there after reading that because I often flush afterwards. It is still OK to hook the hose up to the adapter by the pump right? Is there any advantage to flushing using the flushing connector under the seat?

    just hook it up by the pump. do you ride in salt water? i ride in fresh and i NEVER flush mine.... LOL!
