water jacket IC plumbing
well 2 weeks turned into 2 months but i finally got to test my water jacketed IC plumbing, im sad to say it didnt really do anything at all, it is more worth your while to put your air intake to draw outside air , i have spent all weekend testing and the only time i could see a 50 rpm gain is when the air filter is in teh normal riva position, if you move it forward nothing happens, if you move it to draw outside air your rpms stay the same withe the water running throught the pipes or with it turned off, for the amount of money they are gonna cost i want to warn everyone not to even try it, these were a 1 off custom made part for me so they were quite expensive, and they didnt do a damn thing, my guess is that the air is moving to quickly through the tubes to cool off, there needs to be some kind of heat exchanger to cool the air and that would be a restriction so it is pretty much a lost cause, just thought i would let you all know

Sorry to hear that Evan. I was hoping it would work out. I didn't see any gain from insulating my IC to TB pipe and intercooler. I guess the air is moving too fast for it to make any kind of difference.

I read about the air temp thing on a SC website.
There is a scientific phrase used to explain what you discovered.
Basically the air is not in the tubes long enough to see a temperature change is what it all came down to.
