Angry Steering Cable Bolt Problem 06 rxp

Up front where the bolt holds the steering cable to the bars, the nut insert just spins and spins. It will not release the bolt. Any advice on how to hold the insert or get the bolt out without tearing everything up? Any kind advice will be appreciated. First cable install since I've owned new. Manufacture flaw?

    I hate that.
I usually remove the whole steering assembly and try jam a thin screwdiver blade in there to stop the nut turning, or fill the outside of it with superglue, (spin the nut so itsnot sitting on the flats properly, drip the glue in and turn the nut back into place)
