Which hose do I block off when Towing?
I did a search but I must be missing the proper key words.
I would like to install a valve to prevent engine flooding while towing a SHO. Could someone please tell me what size valve do I use and is there a photo of the hose to block off?
Thanks!

If that happens, you have to get the water out of the engine ASAP. If if is salt water, then very ASAP. 3 back to back to back oil changes will get most of the water out. Then ideally you should run the boat for about 15 to 20 minutes. It is better to not let his happen in the first place (if you can).
I like the "valve idea" idea mentioned here. This question also brings up the question, "how fast can you tow these things". I had to tow my Ultra a couple of times . . . one time for 26 miles @ 9 knots (vessel assist) and no water backfilled into the engine. Honestly I am not sure how fast you can tow the YAM's without backfilling the engines with water; I have never had to do it but it would good to know just in case . . .
I have been in waters where it would be dangerous to remove the seat(s), even for 5 seconds to turn the valve off.
