let the ski run for a couple seconds, shut it off.place a flat blade screwdriver between the pl;unger end and the cam for the accl pump, depress the plunger all the way in twice.start it again for a couple seconds, repeat.one of the nozzles wasn't squirting so i isolated the feed line and used compressed air to un stick the check ball inside the brass nozzle.carbs were really working good right out of the gate,i was actually surprised at how well the ski ran with a 6 wedge,op plate and the lt petals.wife will just have to be satisfied with a little slower ski than the other virage

i used his method and it worked . but for uncloging the checkballs i like to use a penetrating oil with a straw. stick the straw in the line over clamp with a pair of pliers depress till you get flow then follow up with a can of carb cleaner

well i got the new cdi in and it still didn't start.after putting the new cdi in the pro and it working i got to thinking about how the old cdi had the jumper wire setup and thats how i hooked up the new one in the virage but not in the pro.so i reinstalled it in the virage without the jumper and she runs.got both virages on one trailer so i'm ready to ride them both this sunday.bring on the waves!!!!

wife's virage runs good,hs small issue with some hesitation on takeoff.i belive one of the brass nozzles isn't sealing off, probably the one that was stuck.turned 6580 max rpm on a hot humid day.ran consitent all day.the triple piper was rockin,8 vane 17/22 and a 3 wedge.the tdr waterbox sounds really good on it.the one sound baffle in the hull still kills some sound.it turned 7330 with the aat

running good, haven't really tried to nail down the hesitation, its somewhere in the accl pump system.on the mfd she went 6610rpm at 68.3mph.very solid ski.checked the timing, spot on.bout time for some road trips.

looks like the accl pump issue has been found, redid the zip ties for the accl pump hoses to stop the fuel from being sucked back into the metering block.moved the hydro turf seat over permanetly as the other virage is under the knife

still an issue with the accl pump, after idling a while she'll hesiatate on takeoff but way better than has been.had 2 water leaks.the water supply pipe and the t-stat housing, gray rtv to the rescue.ski ran 62.3 gps with a 3/4 tank of gas.pretty much rock solid.i'd forgotten what gas milage was!!!

Similar issue with a 97 SLTX. Hoping the OEM carb rebuilds take care of that.

i've changed metering blocks, removed the spring, sprayed carb cleaner around the check ball on both blocks, swapped accl diap ,biggest difference was the zip ties but i haven't really tried purging the air from it,or replace the top o-ring.gonna replace the accl pump lines with red primer line and put the black tau cetis on it with the correct adapters like the lako stacks.
