260LX cam bearing marks
Hi,
I recently rebuilt my top end, found these two marks on one of the cam bearings, comments please, my opinion is clean it and leave it

looks to be ok to me
looks like slight mark from lube holes in the camshaft i would be more concerned if they were worn right across face.

yeah, i reckon there was a small piece of alloy from manufacture on that specific lube hole, all the others were perfect, cheers, at least i'm right on this one

I agree. Looks fine and that little groove should cause you no issue.
At first I saw the reflection on the tappets and thought they looked all scratched up....
