Need some help on what might be wrong 2000 gp12r
I recently did a oside bill carb rebuild, rejet, added flame arrestor, dplate, power valves, had to take it to the lake today to see how it works, ran great about 30 mins then it just bogged down had to pretty much idle it back to shore, only would run about 2-3 mph, when I would squeeze the throttle it would just bog down but not die, it ran fine at idle, and I did not flip and get any water in the hull. I got it home and hooked it to the hose and it seems to run fine, I also checked compression all were from 110-120, also changed plugs at the lake but didnt help, flame arrestor seemed to be dry could this got wet, I also just replaced all fuel lines and filter and run premix. I took a short video of it running if I rev it just under 2k and hold a few seconds it makes a noise seems to not be engine noise or is this normal on a hose starts around the 13 sec. mark. Any idea why it started bogging. thanks for any info.

Bill when I got home and put on hose I did hear and see the power valves open, but I really know nothing about how they work, this is hard to test since it idles just fine, and I dont like reving it up on hose, almost seems its not getting enough fuel when you hit the throttle but I just changed all fuel lines.
I replaced the plugs with new at the lake, that was my first thought.

Only things left are CDI/plug wires or reeds.
what reeds/cages?

When you rev it you should see the valves open, if they are stuck open you will have no bottom end and it will bog like hell. One way to perform the test manually is to disconnect the control cables and manually close the valves. test run it and see if you have full power again on the bottom end. If this is your problem then you have to figure out what is not working properly on the power valves. I have had this happen to me before felt like you had not bottom end at all, then if you could get it unhook and the rpm would go over 4500 and it would run like a raped ape.
