New to me...2001 GXT Millenium Edition 951
Bought a 2001 GXT Millenium Edition 951 that had been flipped, had the engine left full of water, taken apart and left sitting. Got it for $250.00 the owner titled it in Louisiana and registered it so that it's all current. Getting it titled was extra because it's not required here in Louisiana.
So after inspection...
Cases are no good.
Crankshaft is no good.
PTO coupler is missing.
Carbon shaft seal is missing.
Everything else is there...
I'm going to bring this thing back to life. It's very sun faded, not so pretty but I really like it.

Thanks, Jim. The title actually says 2000, I just thought I remembered 2001.
The previous owner bought it off E-bay (from a Michigan guy) and then his wife accidently flipped it. So I got it after that. I'm planning to get it running again and enjoy it with my family this summer.

Bought a 951 engine from a '97 GTX, it's a white engine, which I found out after I bought it may be a bad choice.
It's am SBT rebuild that I got for $850.00 shipped to my door. I'm going to use it, not abuse it, and pray for good service from it.
I'll get some more pictures later.

Your right but it's a 951cc alright, I just got the donor craft wrong.
It's from '97.5 (951cc White motor) Seadoo GSX LTD.

It's all put together, had a few issues with the idle.
It's good now and I've already pulled the kids on the tub with it!
I'm very happy with how this turned out, this is a great family ski.
Here's my 2000 GTX Millenium Edition with the white motor installed...
