UMI Steering Set Up
Can anybody tell me if fitting the UMI steering set up on my RXP is worth doing and what are the real benefits. Before anybody says the obvious yes I know it looks cool.
Cost on the UK is around 750$ so it is not cheep item yo buy

It places you in a more forward position allowing to ride the ski more aggresive. It is a real nice set up and in my opinion allows you to ride so much harder. I have had the X system aswell. IMO the UMI is nicer.

UMI is awsome, I would never have a RXP without it now, it allows you to make the most of what is a extremly good handling boat.
Yes it is alot of money but its worth it, oh and it looks cool LOL.

you can save some money and order it from the greenhulk online store
http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=873
The UMI setup is a very worthwhile mod to do to any RXP or RXT
I prefer the 32" renthal bars
http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=772
And the Riva adjustable finger throttle
http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=329
you will also need the cable adapter

I would love to be able buy from you or at the same price here in the UK but we pay around 50-75% more for all our jet ski parts over here in the Rip Off UK. I have had some items from over the big pond but by the time you add the shipping costs and customs charges if you get caught it works out about the same price.
On top of the above we also pays over £6.00 per gallon ($9.60USD) for our fuel.

Bars have arrived and I have them all built up just need to get them fitted on night this week.
Advice needed on set up.
On the yoke at the bottom there are 3 holes which you can bolt the steering cable to. Which one it the best to use? Do I use the one which is about the same distance from the shaft centre as my standard steering or should I go to one which is nearer to the centre of the shaft which will give s faster steering?
