WOW....Is there a trick to get to the hose and hose clamp that goes on the exhaust tip form the waterbox. Insatalling a Riva Waterbox and rear exhaust exit.

Yep.
Remove opas block off and access clamp from opas hole.
Mount coupler on box then install onto tip.
The clamp has to be on hose facing to opas hole and use long extension.
A total pita.!!!!
I guess you got the thru Hull fitting mounted?

Thru hull fitting is installed and waterbox is in the hull. I have the hose on the water box tight and trying get in on the thru hull and tighten hose clamp. Have opas blocks off's intalled, so that is the place to thighten clamp? Not sure yet if I have enough hose pushed onto to the exhaust tip.
Thanks

Yes you need to remove block off.
Dry fit with mid pipe like your doing till you get coupler correct.
I would put as much of the coupler on fitting as possible.

and i thought i was the only one having trouble since i don't exactly fit between the ski and the motor... i ended up taking the water input piece off the exhaust so i could install it in the waterbox so it doesn't have that long section that i couldn't slide the waterbox past. got things lined up and then haven't gone back to it. i'll be taking the OPAS BO plate off this time! thanks for the tip!

This is bad news for me. I just installed my Riva block offs this weekend and planned on starting the thru hull next weekend. Has anyone had any luck in reaching this clamp without going through the OPAS hole?

yeah, i was wishing i had a two seater when i started working on mine. heck, i was planning to have my little sister come over since she could easily fit between the motor and hull with all 80 something pounds of her.

I was thinking I would be able to reach it but I wasnt sure. When I installed the FF I remember reaching back there rather easily. Thanks for clarifying for me guys now I just need some free time so I can get back out there and get the ski ready for this season!!
