Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone knows the cam lift of a *stock* camshaft? I have a RR and a Crower cam in my shop right now, but im not sure if those have more lift than stock. thanks.

Based on the attached sea doo cam spec it looks like the lobe lift stock is intake .225 and exhaust .226. I have a stock cam from a 2005 rxp that I can measure if you need. The Rotax racing cam has a lobe lift of intake .237 and exhaust .217. The valve lift on the Rotax racing is intake .403 and exhaust .358. The Rotax racing cam spec is based on my own testing.

From that Picture the specs are 203/207 .225/.226 110 LSA
Are you saying the Rotax Racing cam is a 237/217 .403/.358 ?? LSA? Is that for the Rotax Racing cam 4224 or RR6224? Does anyone know the differance in specs between the two? Does anyone else make cams for our Skis?

4224 is a good all-rounder, the 6224 is a more agressive cam on lift, and valve acceleration, best used only with aftermarket ECM's to get the most out of it.
I think Jerry says this somewhere in his shop.

I've had cams ground for cars before, can I not just get my stock cam done?

I checked the stock cam from my 05 rxp. The intake lobe lift is .226 and the exhaust lobe lift is .220.
