rr retainers,rr lightened camshaft sproket,rr camchain tensioner need opinion, advise
hi all,
many of you all know my issue wouldlike after solving my problem to put back my oem spring and put RR retainers since I don't have riva base washers and can't find them alone.
My question is how long can I use rr retainers?
what's the benefit of using the rr lightened camshaft?
why using rr camchain tensioner ?

I have a 04 ski I might have that 29 cam then.
Ok then I'll buy rr camchain tensioner then.
THe riva spring kit with riva base washers how long does it last?

okay and a riva kit without riva base washers I can go up to how many rpm without dropping a valve?

I think it's 8450rpm normally without the riva base washers not sure

The kit uses titanium retainers. The kit will enable safe operation to 8800 RPM's. I know others that have run 9000+ with this kit, but it's advisable to also use the Ferrea lightweight valves when running 8800 or more RPM's.

This kit is rated at 8450, but I have known many people to run it at 8600 with no problems

I was under the assumption that rr tensioner was for use with their head gasket AND rr head which is milled down quite a bit which created all the extra slack in the chain (hence thr need for a longer tensioner) .... anyone care to chime in?
