How to get rid of cavitation??
Ok guys went racing for the first time with the FZR yesterday and i was banging the limiter coming out of each corner.
At the moment im running a 13/26 Skat 155mm prop with stock nozzles etc.
I was running 8550 RPM WOT with an 8650 rev limit.
Now all i want is to go from 0-85 as fast as possible with no cavitation and good hook up.
I have the horsepower to do it and all i need now is to get it to the water.
What do i need to buy?
Should i just bite the bullet and go to a full skatty pump setup?
Bore mine to 160mm with a tbm cone??

I have heard that those skat pumps are very inconsistent and alot of problems arose from them. I race cc and I have a 160mm impeller and liner and it cosiderably deleted cavitation. Not totally but considerably. I would do that setup and wait till some good reports come back from those skat pumps. But if you do somehow get a good skat pump I've heard they are some serious arm stretchers, and they do get rid of cavitation completely.

I have the Riva 160mm and lost 3 MPH on top even riptiched to 8500rpm, went back to the 155mm with the Skat 13/25 (82+GPS)
As Waterholics said, Hole-shot cavitation was still there with the Riva 160mm.

Thanks for the info guys.
I have heard mixed things in regards to the 155 vs 160.
Most people say that you lose 2-3 mph but you get rid of cavitation and acceleration is about the same.
What about the 155 and a TBM pump cone?

Jerry was saying that the seadoo pump didnt do much.
Plus i think the prop sizes for the seadoo pump are waayyy too small for what we are doing.
15/26 4 blade is about the biggest you can go before loosing effiency on the seadoo's and thats way too small for us.
Didnt have any luck with the skatty props on the seadoos. Solas was far better.

I dont think you can get the performace you want from a 155 with the current props out there just not enough bite
