WSM Platinum Piston Question
These only come in standard and overbore sizes it looks like, so no matching to your cylinder like OEM or PROX. If anyone here is running WSM platinum pistons in their original nicasil cylinders, did you just buy the standard size pistons and put them in no matter what size your cylinders are stamped. Any problems? thanx ken

I'm running them in stock cylinders, and they are fine. The difference from the smallest OEM piston to the largest is only .0005"...Hardly a big deal in this application. Clearance +- .0005" is not going to make or break your success.

Jim, my first thought was I can only use these if I am getting the cylinder re-coated so it can be matched correctly. But then as PolarisNut says, it's such a small variance between stock cylinders they should work, although I rely on the people here for their advice since I lack the knowledge. I don't understand why Yamaha complicated it this much. Thanks guys. Will give them a shot.
