Post your favorite mods!
I am curious which modifications you have performed on your Polaris (aftermarket or otherwise) that you have been the happiest with? Rideplate, sponsons, steering, pipes, something else? To this point, I have run stock-ish skis (minus my 900-1200SL), but thanks to Bob I am diving head-first into modifying my machines (The SL900/1200 and '98 785 Pro). Let me know (in order) the mods that hae given you the biggest "giggle-factor"
. Thanks!

I hear that a set of hot seat pipes is the single best mod you can do to the pro, I have a mild port job on my pro but I would imagine that porting the cylinders and raising the compression in the domes would be the second best of course you would also need a set of vf reeds, ditching the stock sponsons and adding some beach house or hot seat would be a smart move. Other hull mods that I would not want to do without would be the umi finger throttle, new turf and seat cover, definately need the drop nozzle( I will never go back to the factory trim) I am still using the factory ride plate so I can't speak of the affectiveness of this mod but it does seem very popular with the racers.

biggest bang for the buck, versus difficulty,vs price,vs results hands down light tension reed petals on a stock ski for motor mod, ride plates for hull mods.

I think it's model specific to some degree. I like the domestic three seaters and I ride in fairly smooth water, so I would say for me it's:
Pipes
Porting
Slight compression and timing bump
Polaris W (Fusion) reeds
Flame Arrestors (Just to tidy up the engine bay)
Wedge
Rideplate
Prop tweak as needed
Sponsons
Handlebars
