95 HX Carb jetting for Buckshot 46mm Limited set up
Can anyone help me with the jet sizes for my set up! it currently is 46mm Buckshot twin Carbs, cylinder ports cleaned up for better flow and Factory Pipe with the EWCI disconnected, standard head, I have been told this is a standard Limited race set up.
The current jetting is 85 & 135 the same on both Carbs w/ K & N filters, the ski ran with no problems with this set up prior to rebuilding the engine. I have taken it to a Ski mechanic and he has told me it has trouble with it idling and believes the jetting may be wrong. The only change that I am aware of is that he has changed the fuel lines.
I have searched the carby set up forums and no one has specified what jetting to use or a starting point. I would like to get it right so I don’t seize the top end after rebuilding the engine.
