FOR GREEN HULK
Jerry---I have PPGs level one kits plus RR intercooler---2 degree wedge-
small venturi--opas block offs---PPG power exhaust. My question is--I saw where you installed a PCV breather/oil catch can. Not knowing the plumbing that well----remember, I am the one that did not know the 4tech block and head are aluminum---my question is--if I install a Riva fresh air pipe with their K & N filter--would this set up then nagate having to install the catch can to keep engine oil from entering the intercooler Thanks --
Ray

Hi Ray! The Riva air intake has a port in it for the stock PCV hose to connect to. I just plugged this port off and ran the catch can.

we made a home made catch can for our stage 2 rxp last nite and took it out riding today i cant belive all the oil in there its a must for everyone to have this part. jerry we ordered the jaze can with only one inlet, my dad made one with two one in and one out we hooked it back up to the air intake to make it have a better vaccum on the crank case ill have pic in a little bit of how much oil was in there, it seemed to suck a hole bunch out in the beginning of the day and then not as much the rest of the day

well we found out why we got more oil in the beginning of the day the little flip top lid came off of the top of the jug. remmember we jerry rigged this no pun intended
my dad want to know if you worry about the crank case pressure being to high ( blow gaskets, ect) hes saying you have to have it hooked back up to the air intake to make enough vaccum to pull the oil through to the catch can. heres some pics of the jerry riggin catch can total in parts under 7 bucks and works damn good till the jaze can gets here.

jerry why did you get the jaze can made with only one inlet? do you think that it has to be hooked back up to the air intake to get a proper pull on the crank case to get the oil/pressure out? my dad thinks so

DAMN! that is alot of oil
My catch can only has one inlet as it doesn't hook back up to the air intake. Maybe hooking it up to the air intake actually sucks the oil out?
Mine is working great just venting to atmosphere.
