I don't know. I've got 41 hours on my II and it still runs strong. Is there any other way to safe guard the ski w/out swapping ecu's?

I thought getting the iridium spark plugs 27 would stop it from running lean ?
Is there one that runs hotter. I have heard of one that has like 3 prongs on it.

Spark plugs will not prevent you from running lean.
You don't have to put a Rotax Racing ECU on your ski if it is lean. You can run a piggy back fuel controller as a much cheaper alternative.
The RR ECU is the best alternative though as you can benefit from the higher rev limit.

Here goes that "lean" rumor again ! When Riva first came out with the Power Filter air intake people were worried the ski might run lean...turned out to be BS. The stock ECU has the ability to adjust fuel mixture...I have never heard of anyone experiencing a too lean condition with the Stage 2.
