The world record is 87.5 on a GPR.
The stock intercooler is located in your intake manifold. Yes, you do have to remove it when installing the Rotax Racing external intercooler.

You remove the stock intercooler buy removing the two water hoses, then remove the clamp which holds the intercooler in place, then you pull it out towards the front of the ski. I think you might have to loosen the fuel tank or something to get clearance to pull it out, but Jerry will tell you for sure.

Actually, you also have to unbolt the intake manifold. Very easy task as it's only 7 bolts. Once unbolted you just lift the intake manifold up and the stock intercooler will slide far enough forward for removal.
If you have the Riva BOV you will need to remove it as the external intercooler has it's own plumbing fixtures that will take the place of where that BOV was located.

Do you have to put any type of sealant when you tighten down the manifold?

No, as you can see in this picture off of my main site there is an O ring seal around each of the ports.

yes, those orange things around the port are what seal it. No need for silicone sealant.
