It's all dry fitted right now and looks good, I'll get some pics tomurra. Hoping to get it sealed on tomurra as well. Then can get to re fitting and aligning the motor.

Not going to be long now.

Yes, The Riva rideplate is not bolt-on and go is it. Looks like you are doing a very detailed job. Can't wait to see how your ski runs.

Thanks man, you and me both.

Im not after any crazy top speed numbers, it all about parformance on track for me. If I get 80 with a three blade and 85-84mm nozzle ill be well happy, I know that the accel will be mentle tho.

Heres the pics of the grinding I had to do and the plate/grate fitted.

Glad that job is done it was one of the more involved bits left to do.

Got the exhaust mani re-fitted ready to re-install the motor this weekend.

The probe is real tight to the head but not quite touching.

Yeh if I end up with a Les setup, never say never,

It will most likely be turbo next year but ill prob keep it interchangeable as I feel SC will still win on a short course.

You couldnt be tempted by James's turbo RXP then???

    nice....

Doing an overhaul of a 2006 rxt myself... started with replacing 2 dropped valves, repairing block and head... was just going to fix them and sell it...

That was 4 or 5 months ago...

Think I may have over spent already.... now I'm painting and putting more bits on... going to end up with a brand new one if I keep this up... haven't even ridden it yet!

I have no doubt that my ski isn't going to come close to your work of art!

Congrats... the effort an time is so satisfying... thats what I keep telling my wife anyway

The ECU its self has nothing installed untill you put a map in.

There are base maps availible from haltech for alot of cars and generic start maps but none that fit the 4Tec very well.

There is some info out there regarding maps for the 4Tec, basicly its just lots of reading/research.
