    Nice job R88ory!!
I just want to ask,why did you cut the edges of the plate extension?
Is there any reason for doing this?
    Thanks

    Thanks!!

No not really just what I have used before, its a fairly long extension, 70mm. if it was full width all the way back it might have too much effect.

Here's some pics of it finished, did a final sand to smooth all the machine marks out that gave it a lick of paint just to smarten it back up, not sure how long thats going to last but its not like this is a rec boat spending every weekend in the sea.

Very close now mate, I have the motor out and mani is at work to get EGT sensor fitted, finish off the plate install this weekend get all the grate trued ect ect, then can put it back on the trailer, refit/align the engine. put her back together and get it fire up. Realisticly ill have it in the water for tuning in 3 weeks. Been a long project now but im a sucker for details and want it right first time.

I have too much time in this one to settle for "good enough".

Enough,LOL. The plate alone to get where it is now was 6-7 hours, I still need to make it fit the hull, then need to make the grate sit nice, prob going to weld the grate to the plate and true it all up. All the speed is in the back also im hoping that it will improve the handeling, Im not after every tenth as this is for CC and im going to prop/nozzle it for 78-80mph which to be fair for whats in it will be modest but she will get there quick.

Cant wait to hear the sound of it flat chat at 9000rpm.

Just got done with modding the manifold to take a EGT probe. I have drilled all three ports, but will only be watching one at a time, starting with the middle, then Ill use the cylinder trim options in the haltech to trim each cylinder.

Well, spent all day on the old girl today.

took me 4 hours of grinding to get my riva plate to fit right, then further grinding to get the grate fitting how I wanted it.

It's all dry fitted right now and looks good, I'll get some pics tomurra. Hoping to get it sealed on tomurra as well. Then can get to re fitting and aligning the motor.

Not going to be long now.

    Yehaa!!!!!
