i have a 2000 gtx w/digital dash at upper end of rpm i have a red lite come on and a code 12-k flashes if i go back down to 3000 rpm or so it goes away, any ideas?

went out yesterday in some nice swell in Melbourne, but half way into the ride, my GTX SC 2004 started beeping (long continuous) no alarms came up on the dash, but as it was unusual i took it back to the ramp. I have checked the codes at home and its P1670, which I cant find a reference anywhere.

When i place the lanyard on, it starts by itself (not pressing the start/stop button) , I'm not sure if this is normal or not, and the beep returns, and stays on for a few minutes even when the lanyard is removed, then eventually it stops...

My main question is does anyone know what this fault code P1670 means??
