Blew up my supercharger and everything else...
I got a call from the shop yesterday with bad news... The bearings to the drive shaft went causing the supercharger and clutch to fail, plus a few other things need to be replaced. Still under warranty!
Has this happened to anyone else? only 23 hours

Dealer said it will be ready tomorrow. Is there anything that I can do or should check on before riding it again? The dealer said he has only seen this a couple of times...

Did you drop ceramic washers into the engine? If so, make sure they pulled the PTO cover and the front oil scavenge cover to inspect the oil pumps for damage from the ceramic washers bouncing around in there. In the short time they have had the ski, I doubt they did that.

When my supercharger went my dealer took apart everything necessary, cleaned it out, replaced an oil pump and changed the oil all in one day. I'm not sure what else he did but, it broke again the day after i got it back. It is still in the shop and has been for a few weeks now.

Thanks for the info! I called my dealer and asked him to check out the oil pump and sure enough, it was a mess. My dealer has been great and will have it back on th water Monday afternoon with a new oil pump! He then offered me a demo to use for the weekend! I have been very impressed with the sevice at REGGIE'S KAWASAKI SKI-DOO in LEEDS

Sounds like you have a great dealer to work with. Consider yourself lucky.

Good stuff. You are lucky that the oil pumps are not back ordered like they were when I needed one. I had to wait 3 weeks just for the parts
. You have a great dealer which is unfortunately rare these days.
