with the 50's and no way to control them you are running super rich!! reinstall your rude controller and change your oil before running again. i am sure (from experience) that you probably have gas in your oil from running so rich.

Anybody have any idea what might be causing the bog when I punch it from an idle? The arf was at 13.5.

50s are dumping way to much fuel, is your ski idling rough?

cool, just though id ask. i was running basically a similar set up in the past and ran into the gas in oil problem. i had unregulated 50s and ran into bogging issues as well. just something to check. id also check your oil level so if there is gas in your oil you get it out so you are not washing your bearings. i could smell the gas on the dipstick and my oil was very thin.

The oil smells and looks ok. What should the afr be at idle. I was at 13.5 or is it that as soon as I open it up the 50's dump to much fuel and it bogs?

Your idle is too rich. If you could data log, you would see it go real rich as you give it some gas. Plus you need to warm the ski up good before tuning. It take 5-10 minutes to get to operating temps for water and oil. A RRFPR will lean the idle out and you can set your AFR at WOT.

About 14.5:1 after a good warm up.

I agree with Jim. Get a RRFPR and fine tune the ski. High 11s WOT, 13s at cruise, 14s for idle.

ECU has an enrichment curve when the motor is below normal operating temps. Make sure its fully warmed up.
