Adding trim

Found a guy locally that is parting out a 93 sl750 that has trim. Couple of questions.

Can I add the trim from that ski to my 94 sl650?
What all will I need to move from the 93 to the 94?

Things I know I would need:
trim/stop button & wiring
trim motor & wiring
trim nozzle on pump

Anything else? Is it possible?

Should be a easy swap,you will need the linkage from the motor to the nozzle, Xlint added trim to his SLT,and they never had them.

Those kits come up on Ebay occaissionally.

Make sure the trim motor is good before you buy anything.

kill switch/trim button

trim motor

trim rod

trim nozzle

MFD or mechanical trim indicator


NOTE: the 93 SL 750 used the 146mm jet pump. I don't know if the nozzle will work with your 148mm pump on the 94.

Thanks! Wasn't sure about the nozzle.

Think I might just go and get a different ride plate instead unless the guy comes down on his price.

Ride plate will help more than trim and a stock ride plate.

Look for a SLX 780 ride plate if you can't find an Ocean Pro cheap enough.
